Product Information
Methylene blue is an intensely blue dye that has been used in research and technology for over 100 years. The 1% methylene blue solution (100 ml) is made from high-purity USP methylene blue and purified water – without additives or preservatives. Each batch is independently laboratory-tested in Germany according to DIN EN 15763 to confirm the highest purity and freedom from heavy metals. It is filled into a light-protected brown glass bottle with a precise pipette; one drop contains approx. 0.5 mg methylene blue.
Function / Application
Methylene blue is used in many ways in laboratories and research. Typical applications include staining samples for microscopy, simple chemical experiments, and use as a visible indicator in redox reactions. Due to its pharmaceutical purity (USP) and precise dosage via pipette, the solution is particularly suitable for precise applications.
