This test offers you the opportunity to receive an objective assessment of your current lifestyle based on a simple cheek swab and the molecular data obtained from it. The Essentials result provides your biological age and the rate at which you are aging (Pace of Aging), both determined from thousands of proteins in your sample. Furthermore, with the Professional Kit, we enable you to get a comprehensive analysis and a deep insight into a variety of biochemical processes with the sports and nutrition profile, the Hallmarks of Aging, and individual recommendations. In the High-Performance Kit, you also receive novel biomarkers for specific functions in your body, such as cellular energy production, vitamin D metabolism, or cholesterol metabolism.

Please note that biological age tests from different manufacturers are not comparable due to different measurement methodologies.

The Proteome

The proteome can be imagined as a person's complete wardrobe for every conceivable situation. Each item of clothing (protein) has its specific purpose, whether for different weather conditions, occasions, or activities. This wardrobe is dynamic and quickly and constantly adapts to new conditions, much like the body produces, degrades, or modifies the function of proteins to respond to internal and external signals. The study of the proteome allows us to understand the functional networks that control health and disease.

Instructions

Please carry out the test according to the instructions in the online portal. An insufficient or contaminated sample may lead to your test failing or being inaccurate. We recommend that you perform the test in the morning before breakfast and return the test to the testing laboratory on the same day using the return envelope. If you test later in the day, please note that you should not eat anything and only consume water for at least one hour before sampling.

Returns within Germany are free. Outside Germany, you must download a return label from DHL via a link that you will find during the registration process.
