What distinguishes Rhodiola rosea and Schisandra?
Rhodiola rosea grows in cold, high altitudes and contains natural ingredients such as rosavin and salidroside. Its name comes from the slightly rosy scent of the root. Schisandra, on the other hand, is a bright red berry known for its unique five-flavor profile – sweet, sour, salty, bitter, and pungent. Both plants have a long cultural significance and are traditionally used.
What is special about Cordyceps and red ginseng?
Cordyceps has been used in Chinese tradition for almost 1500 years and is now mainly produced through fermentation. It contains cordycepin, polysaccharides, and other natural fungal compounds. Red ginseng is traditionally produced by steaming and drying white ginseng root. It contains ginsenosides and other secondary plant compounds.
What role do Vitamins B5 and B6 play in AdaptoBalance?
Pantothenic acid (Vitamin B5) contributes to normal mental performance and helps to reduce fatigue. Vitamin B6 supports normal functioning of the nervous system and psychological function. Both vitamins are in bioactive form, meaning they are directly available and do not need to be converted by the body.
