What is Vitamin D3 K2?
Vitamin D3 K2 is a vitamin complex consisting of the essential vitamins D and K. Especially in our latitudes, there is a widespread vitamin D deficiency due to low sun exposure: In Europe, an average of 40% of the population is undersupplied, in Germany even 56%; based on higher reference values, 8 out of 10 people in German-speaking countries have a vitamin D deficiency.
Function
Vitamin D ensures that the intestine can absorb calcium and phosphate from food, contributes to the maintenance of bones, teeth, and normal muscle function, and supports the immune system. Vitamin K ensures normal blood clotting and helps maintain normal bones, thus forming a useful supplement to vitamin D supplementation.
