Why Raw Kombucha
Raw kombucha is unpasteurized and unfiltered – which is why it contains live cultures that can support the gut flora. By not pasteurizing, enzymes and vitamins are preserved.
Storage
Store in the refrigerator. FIRST8 Kombucha is raw, meaning it's a living product with active cultures. Please refrigerate immediately upon receipt. It can withstand several days of shipping without damage. If left unrefrigerated for longer, it won't spoil but will continue to ferment (more lactic and acetic acid bacteria, significantly more sour, more carbonation).

FIRST8 Kombucha is a fermented tea drink. Like all fermented products, it contains small amounts of natural alcohol (less than 0.5% vol) and is therefore considered non-alcoholic.
